El jurado del premio de poesía Saulo Torón que otorga el Consejo Social de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria se reunió el 22 de junio de 2010 a las 16:00 horas en la sede del mismo para deliberar sobre los trabajos presentados. Estuvo compuesto por don Lothar Siemens Hernández, presidente del Consejo Social de la ULPGC, don José Regidor García, Rector Magnífico de la ULPGC, doña Isabel Pascua Febles, Vicerrectora de Cultura y Deporte de la ULPGC, don José Regidor García, Rector Magnífico de la ULPGC, doña Isabel Pascua Febles, Vicerrectora de Cultura y Deporte de la ULPGC, don Maximiano Trapero, Catedrático de Filología Española de la ULPGC, y el más antiguo ganador de este premio don Juan Manuel Artero Fernández-Montesinos, que actuó también como secretario por estar ausente el del Consejo Social. Tras deliberar y votar resultó ganador el poemario titulado CURÁNDOME EN SALUD, y abierta la plica resultó ser su autor don Baltasar Medina Peñate, estudiante de Diplomatura en Trabajo Social.
Abstract
The jury of the Saulo Torón poetry prize given by the Consejo Social of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria met the 22nd of June 2010 at 4 PM in its headquarters in order to deliberate on the works presented. It was composed by Mr Lothar Siemens Hernández, president of the Consejo Social of the ULPGC, Mr José Regidor García, Rector Magnificus of the ULPGC, Mrs Isabel Pascua Febles, Vice-Rector of Cultura y Deporte of the ULPGC, and the very first winner of this prize Mr Juan Manuel Artero Fernández-Montesinos, who acted as substitute secretary of the Consejo Social. After deliberating and voting, the collection of poems entitled CURÁNDOME EN SALUD won, and once the envelope was opened, the author Mr Baltasar Medina Peñate, student of the Undergraduate Degree on Social Work, was the winner.
