Sin duda la importancia del derecho marítimo ha marcado durante un gran período de tiempo la reivindicación de su consideración como disciplina jurídica especial.La reciente promulgación de la Ley de Navegación Marítima se ha de considerar todo un logro legislativo de unificación de la ingente materia que regula este sector jurídico.
Ciertamente, el marco educativo ha alterado la consideración de la disciplina marítima, optándose por la especialización de aquellos sujetos que se relacionan con la navegación y justificando mucho más si cabe, la necesidad de estudiar la maritimidad.
Así que, con esta monografía, atendemos a la importancia que el buque y otros vehículos de la navegación marítima tienen en este espacio, en tanto, que son imprescindibles para entender el entorno especializado en el que nos movemos y del que forma parte su Registro. Su autora, más próxima y sensible a lo marítimo por ser canaria y por tanto, isleña, da importancia básica como referente de estudio al buque como objeto central de este ámbito.
Certainly, the importance of maritime law has marked during a great period of time the process of acceptance of its consideration as a special branch of legal discipline. The last enactment of Maritime Navigation Law must be considered a legislative achievement of unification of the massive material that regulates this legal area.
Surely, the educational framework has modified the consideration of this legal discipline, choosing for the expertise of those subjects that are related with navigation and proving even more the need of studying the maritime dimension.
Therefore, with this monograph, we deal with the importance that the vessel and other vehicles of navigation have in this area as they are essential in order to understand the specialized environment in which we thrive and that take part in its registration.The author, closer and more sensitive to the maritime matters for being from Canary Islands, attaches basic importance as reference for study the vessel as the central object in this field.
