La obra realiza un examen exhaustivo sobre el cambio lingüístico en el español de la Costa Granadina. Lo hace adoptando varias novedades en la bibliografía internacional: aborda un ámbito comarcal completo, trabaja con diversos fenómenos lingüísticos de manera simultánea y opera con los mismos hablantes a través del eje terminal. De esa manera no solo obtiene un análisis de la situación en la Costa Granadina, sino que establece parámetros para calibrar los procesos universales de cambio.
The present work carries out an exhaustive examination of linguistic change in the Spanish of the Grenadian Coast. It does so by adopting several novelties in the international literature: by dealing with a complete regional scope, working with different linguistic phenomena simultaneously and working with the same speakers through the terminal axis. In this way, it not only obtains an analysis of the situation on the Grenadian Coast, but also establishes parameters for gauging universal processes of change.
