Esta publicación es el resultado de un Proyecto de Innovación Docente ?El cine como herramienta de aprendizaje del mundo rural contemporáneo? (PIMED04_201921), incluido en la convocatoria de 2019 de Proyectos de Innovación Docente del Vicerrectorado de Coordinación y Calidad delas Enseñanzas de la Universidad de Jaén, cuyo objetivo es conseguir que el alumnado reflexione y profundice a través de la imagen fílmica del papel que ha desempeñado el medio rural en la sociedad contemporánea desde un enfoque geohistórico. Hay que tener en cuenta que generalmente el alumnado tiene una visión limitada y compartimentada sobre los procesos y acontecimientos que estudia en las materias que conforman sus títulos universitarios. Para intentar paliar esta situación se ha pretendido utilizar el cine como herramienta metodológica y que sirva de argamasa para unir un amplio abanico de enfoques dentro de los grados de Ciencias Ambientales, Geografía e Historia, Trabajo Social y el Master de Estudios Avanzados en Patrimonio Cultural: Historia, Arte y Territorio. This publication is the result of the Teaching Innovation Project ?The cinema as a learning tool for the contemporary rural world? (PIMED04_201921), included in the 2019 invitation for Teaching Innovation Projects from the Coordination and Quality Vice-Rectorate for teaching at Jaén University. The objective is to get students to reflect on and deepen their appreciation of the role that rural areas have played in contemporary society from a geographical and historical perspective, using film as a media. Generally, students have a limited, compartmentalised view of the processes and events they study in the subjects that make up their university degrees. Therefore, in an attempt to combat this situation, the cinema is being used as a methodological tool to bind together a wide range of approaches within the degree courses of Environmental Sciences, Geography and History, Social Work and the Master?s of Advanced Studies in Cultural Heritage: History, Art and Territory.
